Santa's Sleigh Elegant Christmas Shaker Card

Hey Peaches, I have another fun shaker card for you today!  This one is so fun and very easy to do. To start you'll need to use the tree finlet from the Santa sleigh thinlits dies and cut it out of a piece for Basic Black cardstock.  Now for my card, I wanted the tree centered on my black card stock. So you want to make sure that when you run it through the Big Shot that you tape it down with some washy tape onto the center of your card stock. Once you cut out to your tree,  you are going to use the negative space. So you will need to flip the black card stock with your tree cut out on its back and adhere a piece of acetate  that is just a little bit bigger than the tree image cut out, to the back. Then you will need to create a well around the tree image. To do this, while you're  card stock is still flipped over, use  foam strips to follow around just outside The clear center of the image,  making sure that you don't leave any gaps for the sequins to fall out. These foam strips are really great because they are really long strips that can be easily manipulated to fit  whatever image you are using.  Once you have created you're well you'll need to take your sequins and put them inside that well. Then remove the backing off of the foam strips and carefully adhere your base Cheery Cobbler card stock on top of your basic black tree layer.

For the sentiment I just took the stamp from the coordinating stamp set and stamped inverse and Mark onto the basic black card stock and then poured the silver embossing powder over it and heats of it. I also added silver glimmer paper to this project because I liked the sparkle is added.  For the final touch I added some basic black solid bakers twine to the top and tied a bow and then added a few extra of the clear sequins on top. And that's the project! Thanks for stopping by and as always, all supplies used for this card are listed below. The stamp bundle will be available staring September 1st. You can just click on the links below and they will take you directly to the product! Thanks and see you next post!
